About Neil.

Neil Rainford has called the Sarasota area home since 2009. Currently the senior project executive of Mullet’s Aluminum Products, he was previously elected to the Sarasota County Charter Review Board. He serves as the Secretary of the Republican Party of Sarasota County. Neil was recently appointed by Governor Desantis to fill a vacant seat on the Sarasota County Commission, a position he has embraced with seamless leadership and pride in his community.

Neil is heavily invested in construction and county planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in interdisciplinary social sciences with an emphasis on Urban and Regional Planning. He is also a member of the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association.
